SKIP Laundry started with a simple idea: college students have better things to do than laundry.

We’re two Clemson MBA students who live right here in Clemson and are proud to be part of the community. Like a lot of students, we remember the hassle of doing laundry in college—crowded laundry rooms, machines that were always taken, and hours spent washing and folding clothes when there were a hundred other things we would rather be doing.

We knew there had to be a better way.

That experience inspired us to create SKIP Laundry, a laundry pickup and delivery service built specifically around the needs of college students.

Our goal is simple: take one weekly chore completely off students’ plates. Fill your SKIP bag, leave it outside your door, and we’ll take it from there. We pick it up, wash, dry and fold everything, and bring it back fresh and ready to go.

More Than Laundry

Clemson is more than just where we go to school. It’s a community we genuinely care about.

We built SKIP locally because we saw an opportunity to make student life a little easier while building something that can have a positive impact on the community around us.

Whether that extra time means studying for an exam, going to the game, spending time with friends, getting some sleep, or simply doing anything other than sitting in a laundry room—that’s the whole point.

We know what college life is like because we’ve lived it. Now, we want to make it a little better for the students coming after us.
